The volume is minimal, and the movement begins from the shoulders through into the length. I used a technique with the tongs that prevent any root lift by placing the tongs on top of the section.

Rarely do my coarse, frizzy curls meet a brush that glides through my hair, to smooth out my curls to straight hair. I like to blow-dry my hair straight with brushes as it achieves a much more natural look overall. I applied the product to he hair when it was almost dry so I could build up a texture that would make the hair easier to grip and manipulate. I applied a second layer of the product to ensure the look would have a lasting hold. The Texture + Wave spray created the perfect texture that I didn't feel the need to apply hairspray.
